This portion of the web site surveys some of the places that law and bicycling intersect. This project is currently organized using the following five subject headings:

PENDING LEGISLATION

Semi-current information about pending and proposed Illinois legislation of interest to cyclists; Links to some local cycling advocacy groups.

PRODUCT SAFETY

Consumer Products Safety Commission notices of cycling related product recalls since 1999. Links to select industry, not-for-profit and governmental bicycle safety sites

BIKE MESSENGERS

The City of Chicago and State of Illinois statutes and ordinances specifically relating to Messengers.

BIKE CRIMES

Select portions of the Criminal Code of Illinois relating to crimes against bikes.
